Job summary

LCX Freight USA LLC is seeking an Operations Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA. You will receive, review, and process export documentation, liaise with overseas agents, and ensure billing is completed in a timely fashion while maintaining accurate shipment files.

The role requires knowledge of import/export regulations (Incoterms), TSA rules, and strong written/verbal communication. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred, with solid MS Office skills and a professional, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience with freight forwarder preferred.
• Knowledge on Incoterms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; math skills for dimension conversions.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process export documentation for accounts.
• Understand Import Regulations and TSA regulations.
• Ensure documentation is processed, distributed, and released timely.
• Create outbound freight orders based on inventory availability.
• Track and trace shipments and provide client updates.
• Maintain shipment files and ensure timely billing.
• Assist as backup for alternate accounts.
• Communicate with overseas agents for pre-alerts and documentation.
• Uphold professional relationships with airlines, transportation agencies and sales.
