Job summary

Final Mile is seeking a Cargo Handler in Anderson, CA to load and unload freight safely and on time. You will use approved equipment, operate handheld scanners and accurately stage next-day routes.

Duties include labeling boxes, verifying documents, maintaining a clean, safe work area, and performing other warehouse tasks as directed. Shift: Mon, Tue & Thu 4a–8a; Pay: $16.41/hr. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, a 401K plan, paid holidays, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, push and pull freight regularly.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and maintain safety.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trucks and trailers
• Safely load/unload using approved equipment
• Use handheld scanners to track freight
• Stage and audit next-day routes
• Label boxes and prepare freight for shipment
• Verify documentation and freight condition
• Check-in and unload freight
• Recoup/restore damaged freight
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
