Job summary

Final Mile is seeking a Cargo Handler to load and unload freight on trailers, using approved equipment and scanners to track shipments. You will accurately stage and audit next day routes and ensure proper labeling and handling of freight.

The role requires physical work with frequent lifting and a schedule Monday–Friday, 3:30 AM–7:30 AM in Birmingham, AL. This full-time position offers paid holidays and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.
• Ability to operate approved equipment for lifting and moving freight.
• Ability to stand and lift for extended periods; strong attention to safety.
• Identify and verify documentation and freight condition.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trucks and trailers.
• Safely use equipment to move freight.
