Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is hiring a Dock Worker to transport freight across the dock area to and from trailers. You will operate forklift, pallet jack and hand truck, and verify freight documentation.

Starting rate of pay is $25.64 per hour with shifts from 1400-2300 and 1730-0230. The role requires ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Equal opportunity employer; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in warehousing or freight handling preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight between dock and trailers.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Verify freight documentation.
• Secure freight inside trailers.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight.
• Complete required reports and documentation.
• Assist customers with freight as needed.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Adhere to laws and company policies.
• Other duties as required.
