Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is hiring for a Dock Worker to move freight between dock areas and trailers. You will operate forklifts and manual equipment, verify freight paperwork, and secure cargo for loading. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in warehousing or freight handling preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy freight and operate dock equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers for loading.
• Perform freight handling with forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Verify documentation matches freight description and secure freight inside trailers.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight and complete required reports and paperwork.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
