Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor-based role in the United States to support inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers and ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, and related regulations. You will collaborate with vendors, customers, carriers, and internal teams to move international and domestic air and ocean shipments.

The role may involve supervising others as a player coach, applying analytical skills to data, and contributing to team productivity and quality.

  • Collaborates with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments.
  • Provides specific functional expertise and may supervise others in a player coach capacity; analyzes data to solve problems and improves productivity and quality.

Job Summary

Supports the movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers. Ensures that freight is processed in compliance with governmental regulations (e.g., Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, etc.). Collaborates with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments. Provides specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual in nature. This expertise is typically acquired through a combination of university education and experience within a field. May have responsibility for supervising others in the capacity of a “player coach” but primary focus is individual expertise. Applies conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. Performs a mix of routine and novel work assignments. Analyzes multiple data sources, both qualitative and quantitative, to understand problems related to own job discipline. Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions. Impacts the team’s productivity and quality. Builds consensus among members of the team or related teams regarding technical issues related to own job discipline. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Additional Criteria

Job Grade: 20E - Supervisor This is not a remote position. Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate – Required. Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm Last day to apply is Thursday, September/10/2026 at 11:59 pm Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Pay Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $82.140,00/year to $133.500,00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
