Qualifications

Top Cargo Inc. is a licensed NVOCC, customs broker, and 3PL specializing in ocean and air freight to Latin America. We're looking for an Export Documentation Specialist to join our Ocean Export team.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and transmit AES/EEI export filings


• Draft and review Master and House Bills of Lading (MBL/HBL)


• Issue shipping instructions to ocean carriers and coordinate bookings


• Coordinate with international agents and overseas partners on shipment documentation


• Track vessel sailings and manage document follow-up with shippers and clients


• Ensure accuracy and compliance across export documentation for a high-volume freight forwarding operation

What We're Looking For

• Experience in ocean export documentation, freight forwarding, or NVOCC operations


• Working knowledge of AES/EEI filing requirements and export compliance


• Familiarity with MBL/HBL preparation and carrier booking systems (GoFreight experience a plus)


• Bilingual Spanish/English (required - our client base spans Latin America)


• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously


• Comfortable working directly with international agents and clients
