Job summary

World Market in Mountain View, CA is seeking an Assistant Manager: Freight Flow to lead store logistics, drive sales and profitability, and foster a customer-first selling culture while executing daily priorities.

You will work with the Store Manager to develop a high-performance team, maintain standards, and ensure safety and loss prevention in the stockroom. Hours include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering results, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates and to de-escalate store and customer situations.
• Strong planning and prioritization to align with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead freight flow processes, visual execution standards, and stocking routines.
• Coordinate freight processing with Store Manager.
• Maintain Loss Prevention policies and stockroom organization and standards.
• Analyze business trends using reports to identify opportunities and take action.
• Uphold World Market culture, values, and safety training.
