Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers for freight delivery or pickups.
• Communicate with customers and vendors about freight details and times.
• Plan predetermined routes for drivers.
• Identify traffic issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare dispatch documents for management and customers/vendors.
• Maintain records of dispatch calls and routes.
• Monitor truck maintenance and repairs as scheduled.
• Log vendor complaints and concerns.
• Answer calls from vendors, customers, and management.
