Job summary

CSX Corporation in the United States is seeking a Freight Conductor to safely coordinate train crews on a freight train, place rail cars for loading and unloading, and makeup/breakdown trains in rail yards, customer facilities, or similar locations.

New hires are eligible for retention bonuses after completing their first and second year of service ($3,000 after year 1, $2,000 after year 2), with relocation within 50 miles required and no relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Pass drug test (hair follicle and urine)
• Medical exam
• Background check
• Must live within or relocate within 50 miles of posted location (relocation assistance not offered)
