• Selecting carriers for shipments who can deliver safely, on-time, and damage free.
• Building multi-level relationships with customers and carriers.
• Ensuring timely pickup, tracking, delivery, documentation and invoicing occurs for your customers and carriers.
• Collaborating with claims and finance during exception management.

Position Summary:

As a Freight Broker for Pyle, you will develop skills for prospecting, relationship management, negotiation, communication, and teamwork. You will serve as a liaison between shippers and carriers to secure the transportation of products.

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant service related work experience
• Demonstrated positive attitude; team-first mindset
• Interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build a rapport with both customers and suppliers
• Must be growth oriented, motivated, and have a sense of urgency
• Strong communication skills; proficiency in MS Office

The following skillsets are preferred, but not required:

• Understanding of DAT, other load boards, or additional pricing technologies
• Basic understanding of how lanes fluctuate based upon seasonality and external events
