Job Summary

We are seeking a Freight Broker to join our team! As our Freight Broker, you will work closely with other departments and transportation partners to build lasting relationships. You will identify areas of improvement within our supply chain and implement changes to save time and money, keep accurate records of operations, and present reports to management. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills and can work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with carriers and shippers
• Resolve transportation issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate shipment records using our TMS
• Provide regular reports on logistics performance
• Track and trace shipments, providing updates to customers
• Broker freight

Qualifications

• Experience in freight brokerage or third-party logistics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum 3 years in customer service and sales
• Critical thinking, prioritization, and effective communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and account management experience
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and logistics software (TMS, EDI, Load Boards)
• Knowledge of over-the-road trucking modes and freight types
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree
