Job summary

Newell Brands, a leading consumer goods company, seeks a Transportation Analyst to analyze freight data across TL, LTL, parcel, and distribution, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support continuous improvement across the outbound network. You will work with Finance, Procurement, and Operations to drive KPI reporting and insights.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration, and deploying reporting tools like Power BI and SAP to support MBRs and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or analytics.
• Familiarity with TL, LTL, parcel, ocean, air transportation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI, TMS, or SAP.
• Awareness of DOT/HOS regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Travel less than 25%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation spend, shipment volume, cube, and rate data across modes to identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop reporting on KPIs including cost per weight, carrier on-time, and productivity.
• Support MBR materials and KPI tracking for leadership.
• Reconcile data across systems (TMS, Power BI, FPBI exports, SAP).
• Build and maintain dashboards and scorecards for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehousing, Customer Service, and Finance.
