Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Transportation Analyst to provide analytical and operational support across the outbound network, analyzing freight data and KPIs to identify cost savings and efficiency gains.

You'll work with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Warehousing, Customer Service, and Finance, develop dashboards, and support MBR materials and SONO projects while expanding data capabilities with tools like Power BI and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain analytics, or related operations/finance role.
• Familiarity with multiple modes of transportation (TL, LTL, parcel, ocean, air) and core transportation management concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, VLOOKUP); experience with Power BI, TMS, or SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation spend and shipment data to identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop reporting on freight KPIs including cost per hundredweight and on-time performance.
• Support Monthly Business Reviews and track productivity goals.
• Reconcile data across TMS, Power BI, SAP to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Build dashboards and scorecards for freight performance.
