Job summary

Newell Brands in Richmond, VA is seeking a Transportation Analyst to provide analytical and operational support to the OPEX Transportation Manager and the North America Transportation team. This role will analyze freight data across all modes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and track performance against KPIs to support continuous improvement of the outbound network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, analytics, or related.
• Familiar with TL, LTL, parcel and core transportation concepts.
• Strong analytical, data-driven problem solving and attention to detail.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, TMS, and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze freight spend, shipment volume, cube, and rates to identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs; support MBR materials and leadership reporting.
• Reconcile data across TMS, Power BI, FPBI exports, and SAP to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehousing, Customer Service, and Finance for coordinated transportation activity.
• Model scenarios to evaluate cost and service impacts of network changes.
