Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Transportation Analyst to provide analytical and operational support to the OPEX Transportation Manager and the North America team. You will analyze freight data across all modes to identify cost savings and track KPIs, while collaborating closely with Procurement, Warehousing, Customer Service, and Finance.

You will help build dashboards and reports, reconcile data across multiple systems, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the outbound

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or analytics.
• Familiarity with TL, LTL, parcel, ocean, air transport.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, VLOOKUP); experience with Power BI or SAP preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT/HOS regulations and industry best practices.
• Attention to detail and data integrity across reporting environments.
• Effective communication to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or other data tools is a plus.
• Less than 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation spend, shipment volume, cube, and rate data across all modes to identify cost drivers.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Support MBR materials and tracking of productivity goals.
• Reconcile data across TMS, Power BI, FPBI exports, SAP for reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehousing, Customer Service, and Finance.
