C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a full-time First Shift Forklift Operator in York, PA. You will operate stand up and reach trucks to move inventory, log stock data, and support order fulfillment in a cold warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include stacking, replenishing, staging, and loading/unloading while maintaining rigorous safety standards. Training is provided; overtime may apply. Join a team focused on feeding communities and maintaining efficient operations.

Formación

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment.
• Previous reach truck/stand up forklift experience required.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Team-oriented attitude with desire to help others.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a stand up forklift/reach truck to move merchandise within the warehouse.
• Accurately log inventory using handheld devices and related tech.
• Stack and rotate merchandise by hand or with equipment.
• Replenish pick slots and production lines for timely order fulfillment.
• Stage finished products in designated storage areas.
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers.
• Follow all forklift safety protocols; handle varying case weights up to 60 lbs.

Position Overview

Freezer Incentive Lift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse. These jobs are an important part of our team and help sustain our safe and efficient daily operation.

Job Description

Earn $19/hour + Incentive pay when you graduate! Full time, 1st shift - 6am start until done Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday (overtime as required) 4875 N Susquehanna Trail, York PA

• Operating a stand up forklift/reach truck to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

What’s a great way to stay in shape? Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift. Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more. Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead. Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height. Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools.
