Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Freezer Picker for the 2nd shift in our Hebron, OH distribution center. The role uses an RF scanner to accurately pick finished gifts from cold storage (-10° to 40°) and input data into the warehouse management system.

You will palletize products with a hand-jack, move pallets to staging, and ensure production standards while complying with SQF. Basic reading, math skills and PC/inventory scanning experience are required.

Qualifications

• Some high school education required.
• 6+ months experience working in a distribution center desirable
• Basic reading and math skills (counting, matching, adding, subtracting, and multiplying) required
• PC skills or previous inventory scanning equipment experience required

Responsibilities

• Pick product using RF scanner in cold storage pulling the correct SKU and quantity
• Use RF scanner to input data into warehouse management system
• Palletize product and moves pallet to staging area using a hand-jack

PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT

• Able to work in cold storage for the entire shift (-10° to 40°)
• Able to walk and stand for the entire shift (10-12 hours)
• Able to drive a forklift
• Utilize a hand-jack and/or forklift in a controlled and safe environment
• Able to lift 20-30 lbs. continuously, and 50lbs. occasionally
• Able to climb stairs in cooler and freezer
• Able to maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
