Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is hiring for a distribution center picker. You will accurately pick finished gifts using an RF scanner in cold storage (-10° to 40°) and input data into the warehouse management system.

Responsibilities include palletizing, moving pallets with a hand-jack, meeting production standards, and complying with SQF. High school education is desired and 6+ months DC experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT

• Able to walk and stand for the entire shift (10-12 hours)
• Able to drive a forklift
• Utilize a hand-jack and/or forklift in a controlled and safe environment
• Able to lift 20-30 lbs. continuously, and 50lbs. occasionally
• Able to climb stairs in cooler and freezer
• Able to maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
