Job summary

IFF in Madison, WI is seeking a Production Process Technician for the Ray Freeze Dry Plant. You will control or operate machinery to assist with production, processing, packaging, and related steps along the line. Starting pay is $22.25 per hour with scheduled overtime and shift premiums.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and be able to use measurement tools.
• Able to push/pull, lift, and move up to 55 lbs.
• Must understand basic math and the metric system.

Responsibilities

• Operate or control machinery on the production line.
• Mix, blend, formulate, and package batches per formulas and quality standards.
• Adjust control instrumentation as SOPs require.
• Load and unload process equipment with care.
• Maintain accurate logs of production processes and maintenance.
• Disassemble/reassemble production equipment as needed.
• Clean, sanitize, and sterilize production areas and equipment.
• Assist in keeping areas compliant with GMP, HACCP, and other regs.
