Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Northglenn, CO. The role is full-time, night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with four weekend shifts every eight weeks and holiday coverage.

Two years of ED RN experience are required, with PALS, ACLS, and NIHHS preferred; BSN is required as of the 4/27/2025 update. Expect fast-paced, high-acuity care with strong teamwork and documentation. Northglenn location offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (or valid compact license).
• BSN must be obtained within four years of hire if not yet held.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the care team.
• Plan individualized care with patient and family involvement and arrange necessary education and referrals.
• Implement care by coordinating the interdisciplinary team and allocating time and resources.
• Evaluate patient response and adjust care plan to achieve stated goals.
• Demonstrate professionalism, ethics, documentation accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
