Job summary

Hearst Media Production Group is seeking a Video Audience Development Manager (freelance) to guide YouTube strategy for the Lucky Dog IP. You will own planning, KPI definition, and automated reporting to drive engagement and revenue.

This role requires expert YouTube Studio knowledge and the ability to translate data into practical production improvements. You will collaborate with producers and cross-functional teams, evangelize best practices, and deliver actionable insights with weekly to

Qualifications

Must have deep YouTube Studio analytics experience and ability to turn data into direction.
Proven ability to build dashboards and automated reports for stakeholders.
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with production, design, and sales teams.

Responsibilities

Own Lucky Dog YouTube channel strategy, content direction and scheduling.
Define KPIs, automate reports, and provide actionable takeaways for leadership.
Automate weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and deliver insights.
Collaborate with sponsorships to support YouTube monetization and campaigns.
Analyze viewership trends to optimize topics, formats, runtimes, cadence.
Develop strategies to grow audiences across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snap.
Lead lightweight testing on packaging, metadata, timing; translate to recommendations.
Improve library performance via playlists and metadata refreshes.
Share best practices across organization and align teams.
Coordinate with Content Operations on captions, uploads, and publishing.
