We’re a fast-paced advertising agency looking for a talented freelance Commercial Video Editor to bring our video ads and commercials to life—especially for restaurant and automotive brands. You’ll be provided with the core assets (footage, script, and voiceover) and will be responsible for transforming them into compelling, polished, high-impact video content under tight timelines.

What You’ll Do
  • Edit and produce short-form and long-form video ads for restaurant and automotive clients
  • Turn provided footage, scripts, and VO into dynamic, engaging commercial content
  • Add motion graphics, text treatments, and light animation to enhance storytelling
  • Maintain strong pacing, clean transitions, and a high level of polish
  • Adapt creative for multiple platforms (paid social, web, streaming, etc.)
  • Work efficiently in a fast-moving agency environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and account teams to deliver on‑brand results
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience editing commercial video content, ideally within an advertising agency
  • Experience working on restaurant and/or automotive brands is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (required)
  • Strong understanding of ad storytelling, timing, and performance-driven creative
  • Comfortable taking direction, iterating quickly, and elevating work independently
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Portfolio Requirement
  • A portfolio is required showcasing relevant commercial or video ad work
  • Restaurant, automotive, or lifestyle brand examples are a major plus
Nice to Have
  • Experience editing for paid social and performance marketing
  • Familiarity with agency workflows and multiple client brands
  • Strong motion graphics or animation skills beyond basic templates
