Job summary

Framestore VR Studio in New York is seeking an experienced VFX Production Coordinator for short-term coverage. This freelance role supports Episodic and Advertising divisions, coordinating tasks with senior producers and CG/2D teams to deliver on time and on budget.

You will organize dailies, rounds, and meetings; manage data flow for references; monitor WIP updates; and ensure Shotgun/Shotgrid stays current. Ability to work hybrid in New York and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a VFX PA or Coordinator in advertising, TV, or feature films.
• Existing knowledge of Framestore production databases (e.g. Shotgun).
• Highly organized and detailed.
• Solid time/project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize conflicting tasks when needed.
• Able to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have valid US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects in Episodic and Advertising divisions under supervision.
• Track workflow in CG, meeting internal and external deadlines.
• Organize dailies, rounds and meetings, and take notes.
• Oversee data movement for references and cad data for artists.
• Monitor WIP updates from the Nuke team to the editorial pipeline.
• Keep Shotgun/Shotgrid updated daily with notes and information.
• Communicate information quickly to crew and other departments.
• Assist in resourcing with Crewing and Resource Manager for freelancers.
• Maintain the global project scheduling system (CETA).
• Support a positive and professional production office environment.
