Collaborating with editors and the wider team, you will develop formats, test ideas, and stay on brand while moving quickly during live games and key events. Flexible freelance schedule required, including evenings/weekends.

Qualifikationen

• 2–4 years of experience in editorial, social content creation, sports media, publishing, entertainment, or a similar creative field.
• Exceptional writing skills with a comedic sensibility, able to nail Overheard's specific voice.
• Deep familiarity with sports and sports culture across multiple leagues, plus the conversations female fans are having about them online.
• Experience launching or growing a social account; examples of content/pages you've helped build.
• Proven ability to ideate and execute social-first content across Instagram and TikTok.
• Comfortable using analytics and audience signals to guide content decisions.
• Able to fully produce your own content: design memes, graphics, and carousels in Canva, and shoot/edit video on iPhone or consumer-grade equipment.
• Strong understanding of meme culture and internet trends; translate big sports moments into shareable content.
• Highly organized; manage multiple streams and meet deadlines; flexible for live events.
• Collaborative and communicative; eager to pitch, brainstorm, and build new formats.
• Bonus: familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or other lightweight video editing tools.

• Audience Insights + Strategy: Identify audience interests; monitor trends; surface insights for content ideas; spot emerging conversations.
• Design + Production: Produce content end-to-end; design memes and graphics in Canva; shoot/edit video on mobile; maintain fast, on-brand production.
