VML is seeking a Freelance Senior Copywriter / Content Designer to lead language strategy across campaigns, CRM programs, digital products, and multi-channel experiences. You will shape messaging, voice, and content systems while collaborating in design environments with UX/UI teams and clients.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled content development, rigorous standards for accessibility, and strong content craft in healthcare/pharma contexts where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional copywriting, content design, or content strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, advertising, or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
• Agency/marketing communications or experience-design background preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating copywriting, content strategy, UX/content design, campaigns, and digital experiences.
• Experience developing content across campaigns, digital products, CRM, and multi-channel journeys.
• Proven ability to develop and manage voice, tone, editorial, messaging, and naming systems.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles, accessibility, and modern content practices.
• Experience prototyping content within Figma or similar tools.
• CRM experience and understanding of campaigns, journeys, optimization, and personalization.
• Healthcare/pharma experience is highly desirable in regulated environments.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance content creation, testing, and production.
• Understanding of content strategy frameworks, testing, and data-informed optimization.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and client-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in multidisciplinary teams.
• High EQ and collaborative problem-solving approach.
• T-shaped copywriting with deep content creation skills and working knowledge of UX/UI/CRM.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategic copywriting and content strategy across campaigns, CRM programs, products, and customer journeys.
• Develop audience-centered messaging that translates brand and business goals into meaningful experiences.
• Define voice, tone, editorial standards, naming systems, and content principles.
• Write and refine campaign concepts, headlines, body copy, UX content, and CTAs.
• Prototype language within design environments, collaborating with UX/UI designers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to create cohesive end-to-end experiences.
• Contribute to both UX and UI content workflows, focusing on user-first design.
• Create scalable, modular content systems for consistency across channels.
• Ensure accessibility and optimize for usability and engagement.
• Use AI tools to generate, test, synthesize, and refine content concepts.
• Apply testing and data-informed learning to improve content performance.
• Present and defend work with senior clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior writers and contribute to team development.
• Advocate for strong content craft and consistent language standards.
• Navigate regulated healthcare/pharma stakeholder environments when applicable.
