Job summary

Elevate Healthcare Marketing is seeking a freelance Social Media Strategist with hands-on experience on regulated prescription pharmaceutical brands. You will work with strategy, analytics, account, and creative teams to build and evolve social programs for Rx brands across patient and HCP audiences—from strategy to MLR-ready execution.

This is a hands-on execution role, not a purely advisory one, and there will be no traditional benefits since it is freelance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in social media strategy across patient and HCP audiences.
• 2–3+ years on prescription pharmaceutical or regulated brands.
• Hands-on experience launching Rx brand social properties.
• Fluent with FDA/OPDP rules, fair balance, and MLR reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop social strategies for patient and HCP audiences aligned to KPIs.
• Turn competitive social landscape into channel strategy and content pillars.
• Advise on page setup, verification, and launch sequencing for Rx brands.
• Build MLR-ready content workflows with review checkpoints and escalation.
• Define a measurement framework linking social analytics to GA4 dashboards.
• Support an org-wide social playbook including governance and workflows.
• Recommend AI-assisted workflows for listening, tagging, and reporting.
