Job summary

Sphere Entertainment Co. in New York is hiring a Production Assistant to support both network promotions and branded content. You will organize media assets, help script promos, and assist with shooting, editing and delivery of material across platforms.

You will work with VPs, Directors and Producers to plan schedules, maintain editorial calendars, and ensure on-brand content while driving engagement and audience growth on social channels.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in television production or postproduction.
• Experience in digital content creation, editing, and distribution is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects that are on-brand for MSG Networks.
• Coordinate production schedules with VP/Director/Producers.
• Write promo copy for live telecasts and produce video excerpts.
• Assist Producers with shooting, editing, and delivery of material.
• Help drive performance metrics and audience engagement.
• Handle multiple aspects of video production including sound and editing.
• Distribute live game content across network and social accounts.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of network programming and sports.
• Provide on-site support and uphold appearance/presentation guidelines.
