Job summary

Yubo is building a brand-new PR function from scratch for a fast-moving global tech platform. You will design, own, and lead the PR strategy, working with an external agency and cross-functional teams to protect and grow the company’s reputation.

The role focuses on consumer storytelling, corporate communications, and handling sensitive issues. Initial scope includes the US, UK and France, with potential for expansion and a strong emphasis on data-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• Proven PR leadership with measurable results.
• Strong understanding of Gen-Z culture and online trends.
• Experience turning data into media stories, including digging into data yourself.
• Track record with influencers, events, activations, research and stunts.
• Experience managing an external PR agency.

Responsibilities

• Set up PR operations and onboard the PR agency with clear storytelling processes.
• Dig into the company's data to uncover trends and stories worth telling.
• Build a reporting framework linking coverage to awareness and growth.
• Lead the 2027 PR calendar and strategy and manage proactive/reactive media relations.
• Advise senior leaders on reputational opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with Trust & Safety and Legal on sensitive topics.
