Job summary

Clutch is seeking a Freelance Medical Editor to support an agency client. Remote work during ET hours with hourly compensation up to $40/hr, DOE. 4-5+ years in pharma agency editing, with strong AMA editing and fact-checking abilities, is required.

Candidates should be tech savvy, capable of collaborating with two other editors and a brand team, and proficient in Adobe, Word, and PowerPoint. An editing assessment is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of experience as a Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Prior pharma agency experience required.
• Must be able to take an editing assessment.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional AMA copy editing skills and fact checking comprehension.
• Must be tech savvy and able to work with pharma content.
• Knowledge of Veeva submissions is a big bonus.
• Edit in Adobe, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint to produce clean outputs.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Collaborate with a small internal brand team and support editors.

Role: Freelance Medical Editor- pharma agency

Location: Remote (ET hours)

Hourly Rate: up to$40/hr (w2) DOE

Length: ongoing, up to 40 hours per week

Editing Test required!

Must have prior pharma agency experience!

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Exceptional AMA copy editing skills and fact checking comprehension
• Must be tech savvy
• Knowledge of Veeva submissions a huge bonus
• Ability to edit in Adobe, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Ability to work as a teammate to 2 other medical editors for the brand
• Some management skills required - this editor will not be working in a silo and will be very present with the internal brand team
• 4-5+ years of experience as a Medical Editor with experience in an agency setting.
• AOR experience in a pharmaceutical agency.
• Ability to take an editing assessment (required)
