Job summary

Fox News Channel is seeking a Freelance Video Playout Operator to join our team. You will replace staff on vacation or illness and handle high-pressure live broadcasts in a 24/7 news environment.

You must be available for early mornings, overnights, weekends and holidays, with strong iNews and file-server playout system knowledge, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude.

Experience with playback, EVS/Viz tools is a plus; we offer a dynamic studio setting and equal opportunity employment.

• Live broadcast playout experience required.

Responsibilities

• Insert video elements during live programming and pretaped shows using a file server playout system.
• Count back to directors and roll elements simultaneously.
• Record and edit quick turnaround pieces.
• Multi-task and work in a team environment.
• Understand how iNews and the playback file server systems operate.
