Piedmont Global is expanding its network of professional freelance interpreters to provide high-quality consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services in the Phoenix, AZ area. Assignments are available on-site (OSI), via video remote interpretation (VRI), and over the phone (OPI) as client needs arise.

We seek interpreters with at least two years of experience, professional English proficiency, and relevant certifications or credentials.

Qualifications

• Two years of interpreting experience (paid or volunteer).
• Professional proficiency in English and target language(s).
• Two professional references or one reference and one letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between diverse speakers with clear and accurate interpretation.
• Provide sight translations of documents when needed.
• Convey meaning, tone, and context between languages.
