Havenly, Inc. in Washington, DC is expanding its bench of in-person interior designers to serve local clients with a mix of virtual and on-site consultations.

This freelance contract role pays per design ranging from $125 to $200, plus a performance-based bonus of $100 to $500; designers use Havenly's platform to source furnishings and manage scheduling, invoicing, and vendor relations, while focusing on client experience and beautiful design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design preferred from an accredited program
• 3+ years of interior design experience with in-person and/or virtual clients
• Confident, knowledgeable communication style with clients
• Tech-savvy using online design tools to create mood boards, 3D renderings, floorplans, and presentations
• Proficiency in Photoshop or Canva for image editing and composition

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DC-area clients through virtual and in-home meetings to understand design preferences, needs, and budget
• Lead the design process with mood boards, design concept, floor plan, and 3D rendering
• Source furniture and decor on Havenly's platform for client checkout with vendor partners
• Grow deep client relationships to drive repeat and referral business
