Job summary

Havenly in Austin is seeking a freelance Interior Designer to work with local clients, delivering both virtual and in-person design services on Havenly's platform.

You will collaborate with residential clients, develop mood boards, floor plans, and 3D renderings, source furniture and decor, and nurture relationships to drive repeat business. This is a 1099 contract with pay per design ($125-$200) plus performance-based bonus ($100-$500).

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design preferred.
• 3+ years of interior design experience with in-person or virtual clients.
• Strong communication and professional presence.
• Tech-savvy with ability to create mood boards, 3D renderings and floor plans.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to convert designs into sales.
• Knowledge of multiple vendors and price points.
• Reliable transportation and equipment (computer, video conferencing).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Austin-area clients via virtual and in-home meetings.
• Lead design process: mood boards, design concept, floor plan, and 3D renderings.
• Source furniture & decor on Havenly's platform.
• Grow client relationships for repeat and referral business.
