Job summary

Lightly AG is seeking analytical and driven energy sector professionals to help evaluate AI-generated energy forecasts. The project involves assessing forecast accuracy and quality using a rubric and starts early July, with an estimated scope of approximately 15 hours per week.

You will work with a YC-backed team on cutting-edge AI evaluation projects, with compensation tailored to experience and scope of work.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of recent experience in the energy sector.
• Forecasting experience preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Clear and precise communication.

Lightly AG is an ETH and HSG spin-off pioneering in machine learning and computer vision. Backed by Y Combinator and top-tier investors, our technology is used by global leaders in autonomous driving, medical imaging, and visual inspection. With a small but sharp team in Zurich, we’re looking for analytical and driven Energy Sector Professionals to help us evaluate energy sector forecasts. Estimated project scope of approximately 15 hours/week.

Tasks: Evaluate AI-generated energy forecasts by assessing the accuracy and quality of forecasts and responses using a provided rubric. Project expected to begin early July.

Requirements

You’re a strong candidate if you:

• Have at least 2-3 years of recent experience in the energy sector
• Ideally with forecasting experience
• Are fluent in English (requirement)
• Have strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Communicate clearly and precisely
