You’ll work on individual projects creating engaging, accurate and appropriately challenging English resources for Key Stage 3 pupils.

This would suit a current or former secondary English teacher, subject specialist or experienced education writer looking for flexible freelance projects alongside other commitments.

What you’ll be working on

Depending on the project, you may be asked to:

• Write curriculum-aligned KS3 English content
• Create assessment questions, answers and marking guidance
• Develop reading texts and accompanying comprehension questions
• Create resources covering reading, writing, grammar and language skills
• Develop questions across different levels of challenge
• Write scripts for educational English videos
