POSITION: Designer / Art Director

GATES is seeking a Designer / Art Director to join our creative team. The role involves close collaboration with the Creative Director and Executive Creative Director. You will be responsible for developing creative concepts aligned with the brand vision, ensuring visual communication standards across all channels. The role requires working with creative, editorial, and account teams to produce engaging, high-quality assets in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop brand campaigns from concept to production.
2. Assist in creating concepts and campaign visions, including graphics, typography, website content, social media, and other consumer touchpoints.
3. Conduct research to understand brand objectives, target audiences, and industry trends.
4. Design packaging.
5. Develop and execute integrated marketing activations across all channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. BFA or equivalent with strong skills in typography, graphic design, and art direction.
2. 5+ years of experience in beauty, fashion, retail, packaging, or print.
3. Experience in a client-facing creative role within an agency or in-house environment.
4. Ability to analyze content trends and audience insights to identify new branded content opportunities.
5. Excellent presentation and communication skills at all organizational levels.
6. Strong ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
7. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
