Job Overview
We’re looking for a collaborative and imaginative Art Director to lead creative for our Good Store brand here at DFTBA.

As we build toward that future, we need a visionary Art Director to shape the creative identity that carries us forward.
As Art Director, you’ll define and execute the creative direction for all brands under the Good Store umbrella. You’ll be responsible for building and evolving each brand’s visual presence—from product packaging and photography to web design, social content, and more—ensuring consistency, clarity, and excellence across every touchpoint.
You’ll lead the visual development of new product lines and campaigns, and be a key creative partner to the Good Store General Manager and Marketing & Website Manager. Together, you'll translate strategic goals into compelling creative that connects with customers and reflects our mission to decrease world suck.
What you'll do
- Lead the creative direction for both existing and new Good Store brands, ensuring alignment with DFTBA’s mission and values.
- Develop and implement creative strategies that drive brand recognition, customer engagement, and growth across multiple channels.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency of visual elements across all touchpoints, including website images, products, packaging, and social media.
- Deliver high-quality creative assets, including website images, copy, product packaging, social media & blog content, and advertising creatives. Create day-to-day deliverables and oversee larger content creation projects, including lifestyle photoshoots and content generated by partners.
- Play a leading role in the creative development of branding for new products and product lines within the Good Store portfolio, from concept to launch.
The Ideal Candidate
- 3 years as an Art Director or equivalent experience required, including an exceptional portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects, including branding, digital design, product design, and marketing collateral.
- 3 years previous project management experience.
- Highly proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong brand awareness in regard to creative design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with project management software such as Google Drive, Asana, Trello, and/or Airtable.
- Experience With Motion Graphics, Preferred.

- Location: Missoula, MT or Remote, US-Based
- Starting Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, DOE
