You will edit reels for Instagram and paid social, and craft ad creatives using AI tools while staying true to the handcrafted aesthetic of Britt Bolton Jewelry. This independent position offers direct studio access and ongoing collaboration with The Plot’s marketing team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional content creation experience.
• Experience creating content for paid social.
• Strong portfolio of photo and video work, including reels.
• Hands-on experience creating ad creative with AI tools.
• Great eye and personal style; ability to showcase product beauty.
• Ability to work independently in a small studio and travel to Williamsburg.

The Plot is hiring on behalf of our client, Britt Bolton Jewelry, a Brooklyn-based fine jewelry brand known for its handcrafted pieces, distinctive aesthetic, and uncompromising craftsmanship.

We’re looking for an experienced Content Creator to join the team on a freelance basis, shooting regular sessions in their Williamsburg studio. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative with a strong eye who wants to shape how a growing brand shows up online.

What You’ll Do

• Shoot photo and video in the studio: pieces being made, the team at work, materials, process, and finished product.
• Edit short-form video and reels for Instagram and paid social.
• Create ad creatives using AI tools (ChatGPT, image and video generation) that stay true to how the product actually looks.
• Capture real, behind-the-scenes moments of the founder and team.
• Work closely with The Plot’s marketing team, who will brief each session and run the content across channels.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional content creation experience, preferably in jewelry, fashion, or accessories.
• Experience creating content for paid social.
• A strong portfolio of photo and video work, including reels.
• Hands-on experience creating ad creative with AI tools.
• A great eye and personal style, with an instinct for what makes product look its best.
• Ability to work independently and comfortably in a small, active studio.
• Based in NYC or able to get to Williamsburg regularly.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience shooting jewelry or small, detailed products.
• Previous work with luxury or independent fashion brands.
