Job Title: Social Media Manager – FP Movement

Location: Los Angeles / Santa Monica

Position Overview

The Social Media Manager will report to the Sr Social Media Manager and assist in leading our social strategy across platforms with a strong focus on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest. Responsibilities include overseeing content creation, community management, performance analytics, integrating influencer content, and helping drive brand growth and visibility. This role is key on our marketing team, ideal for someone who understands both creative and analytical aspects of social media. The manager will mentor junior team members, collaborate cross-functionally, and shape the brand's online presence.

Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the social media calendar, aligning with marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives.
  • Create and curate engaging, on-brand content, including original and user-generated content to boost engagement.
  • Handle daily posting, scheduling, and real-time content opportunities.
  • Monitor social trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to keep the brand relevant.
  • Build and manage a community by engaging with comments, DMs, and audience interactions.
  • Collaborate with influencer marketing to amplify key moments and incorporate influencer content.
  • Track performance metrics, generate reports, and optimize strategies based on data.
  • Work with campaign, merchandising, and digital teams for consistent messaging and visuals.
  • Partner with influencer, campaign, PR, and merchandising teams to integrate creator content and enhance brand storytelling.
  • Analyze data regularly and implement insights for improvements.
  • Stay updated on platform trends, creator culture, and digital innovations.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members or freelancers as needed.

Role Qualifications

  • 6+ years of social media experience, preferably in fashion, activewear, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong team management skills.
  • Proven success in growing and managing brand accounts on Instagram and TikTok.
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices and performance metrics.
  • Strong visual skills and experience with content creation, including shooting or editing short videos.
  • Excellent writing skills for compelling, on-brand copy.
  • Passion for movement, wellness, or fashion.

Tools & Skills

  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar editing tools.
  • Experience with social scheduling and analytics tools like Dash Hudson or Sprout.
  • Understanding of influencer strategies and content repurposing.

This role is based in Los Angeles, CA. The salary range is $80,000 - $90,000, depending on experience, education, and location.
