Classroom Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-3:30pm

Clinical Hours: Monday-Thursday 5:45am-2:30pm

Employment Details: Full-Time employment upon successful class completion. The facility pays testing and license fees for graduates.

Requirements

• 100% in-person attendance for all scheduled program activities, including registration (no online option currently)
• Must pass a background check

You Will Learn To:

• Check residents routinely to meet their personal care needs per their wishes.
• Review and update care plans daily for any changes in residents' conditions.
• Notify the Nurse Supervisor of any changes in resident conditions for proper care plan updates.
• Assist residents with daily needs, activities, social programs, and transportation to appointments.
• Create a warm, patient, enthusiastic, and cheerful environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms are prepared and residents are comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys conducted by government agencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 10th-grade education
• Must be 18 years or older
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information per HIPAA guidelines
• Effective communication skills with staff and residents
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
