Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an Automation Tester to validate fraud transaction workflows in a hybrid Alpharetta, GA role. You will design tests across functional, integration, and end-to-end layers, coordinate defect triage, and ensure quality through automation and API testing.

You will work with offshore teams and test leads to communicate progress, risks, and release readiness while contributing to test data prep and environment validation.

Qualifications

• Experience testing fraud, transaction defense, dispute and chargeback solutions.
• Strong understanding of ISO 8583 message formats and payment interchange protocols.
• Hands-on REST/SOAP API testing using Postman/SoapUI/Thunder Client or similar tools.
• Web UI testing including functional validation and integration testing.
• Ability to understand automation scripts, analyze results and troubleshoot failures.

Responsabilités

• Perform hands-on functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Design Test Strategy, Test Plan and test cases based on requirements and banking workflows.
• Coordinate defect triage, engage with developers and analysts to investigate and resolve defects.
• Retest defects, validate regressions, and investigate root causes of quality issues.
• Prepare data, validate test environments, and manage testing dependencies.
