Job summary

NCR Atleos, headquartered in Atlanta, seeks a QA Test Engineer for its Professional Services team to lead ATM testing efforts for banking customers. You will own test plans, execute manual testing on ATM transactions and work closely with customers during on-site engagements.

You will help shape automation efforts as the team transitions from manual to automated testing, while traveling up to 50% across the United States. Hybrid in-office work is required in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years in software or hardware testing or quality engineering.
• Experience creating test plans and functional/integration/end-to-end test cases.
• Experience reporting status to stakeholders and customers.
• Hands-on testing of hardware, software, or both; network basics helpful.
• Travel up to 50% within the U.S. and work on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Create and own test plans, test cases and test scripts for ATM applications.
• Run manual functional and regression testing on ATMs and transaction flows.
• Execute volume, performance and reliability tests as needed.
• Report testing status, risks, and progress to stakeholders regularly.
• Engage with customers during on-site engagements and manage environments.
• Set up/maintain test labs, hardware, Windows networks and installs.
• Identify defects and assist developers in root-cause analysis.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver sprint outcomes.
• Help define automation strategy as testing moves to automation.
