Happen Bank seeks an Associate Data Scientist for Fraud Strategy to turn complex data into actionable insights and strengthen fraud detection across the organization. You will partner with Fraud, Risk, Product, Technology, and Operations to build analytical solutions and enhance decision-making.

The role requires 2+ years in data science or fraud analytics, proficiency in SQL and Python, and the ability to translate findings for technical and business audiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data science, fraud analytics, decision science, or related analytical role.
• Hands-on experience using SQL and Python with large datasets to produce reproducible analysis.
• Working knowledge of statistics, data visualization, and model/strategy performance measurement.
• Ability to translate analytical findings into clear recommendations for technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets using SQL and Python to identify fraud patterns and opportunities.
• Support development and implementation of fraud detection strategies, rules, and models.
• Monitor fraud trends, loss metrics, strategy performance, and investigate anomalies.
