Job summary

Eneba is seeking a Fraud Specialist to join our Fraud & Risk Operations team and safeguard our global marketplace from fraud and suspicious activity. You’ll monitor transactions, review tickets, investigate cases, and collaborate with Analysts to strengthen prevention workflows.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with data. You’ll contribute to faster resolutions, better controls, and a safer platform for millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, or a related analytical role.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to spot unusual patterns.
• Good problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor marketplace transactions and user activity for suspicious behavior.
• Review daily fraud-related tickets including KYC verification cases.

Behind every great product is a team dedicated to keeping it safe. At Eneba, our Fraud & Risk Operations team plays a critical role in protecting our marketplace, maintaining user trust, and ensuring secure and fair transactions across our products.

We're looking for a Fraud Specialist to help protect our marketplace by monitoring suspicious activity, investigating potential fraud, and ensuring timely resolution of fraud-related cases. You'll play a key role in identifying emerging risks, supporting fraud prevention efforts, and improving the processes that keep our platform safe for millions of users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor marketplace transactions and user activity to identify suspicious behavior and potential fraud.
• Review and process daily fraud-related tickets, including account unban requests, held transactions, and Know Your Customer (KYC) verification cases.
• Investigate suspicious transactions and account activity, following established procedures and escalating complex cases when necessary.
• Analyze transaction data and user behavior to identify unusual patterns and potential fraud risks.
• Use existing fraud monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerts to support daily fraud prevention activities.
• Document investigation findings and maintain accurate records of fraud-related cases and decisions.
• Collaborate with Fraud Analysts and other internal teams to resolve cases and improve fraud prevention processes.
• Share observations and suggest improvements to existing fraud detection workflows and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Some experience in fraud prevention, risk operations, customer support, payment operations, or a similar analytical or operational role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify unusual patterns or inconsistencies.
• Basic analytical skills and confidence working with data, spreadsheets, or reporting tools.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on available information.
• Ability to follow established procedures, manage daily tasks, and raise issues when needed.
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and curiosity about fraud prevention and online marketplaces.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
