Job summary

Eneba is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide analytical insights and reporting for payments data. You will collaborate with product teams and other departments to analyze data, automate processes, and inform key decisions impacting growth and efficiency.

The role sits within the Payments & Risk and Product groups, offering opportunities to scale a unique marketplace for gamers with a global, English-speaking team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in business analytics in finance, banking, consulting, accounting, or similar sectors.
• Exposure to payments data (PSP, acquiring, or risk systems) is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of the payments stack is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection and integration projects within the payments domain.
• Develop and maintain performance reports for payments analytics.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights into payment performance, transaction volumes, and other indicators.
• Identify opportunities to optimize payment processes and reduce operational costs, working with Payment Ops and Product teams to optimize payment routing and reduce payment failures.
• Collaborate with data analysts and engineers to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Customer Support, and Product Development to address payment-related challenges and opportunities.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and research to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical insights and reporting to support decision-making within the company. You will work closely with the product teams and other departments to analyze payments-related data, manage complex data sources, automate data processes, and provide insights into business performance. This is a critical role in our organization, as the insights and recommendations you provide will inform key strategic decisions that drive our growth and success.

• Collaborate with other teams, such as Finance, Customer Support, and Product Development, to address payment-related challenges and opportunities.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and research to answer specific business questions and support decision-making.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in business analytics in finance, banking, consulting, accounting, or similar sectors. Exposure to payments data (PSP, acquiring, or risk systems) is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of the payments stack is a strong plus.
• Advanced SQL, with an ambition to improve.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Ability to identify and suggest improvements in the payments domain by analyzing transactional, business, and market data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and translate data findings into actionable recommendations, especially for non-technical stakeholders. Precise and well-structured when delivering analyses and reports.

Nice to have

• Ability to independently build structured dashboards (Databricks, Tableau, or similar BI tools).
• Experience building AI-powered refreshable/scheduled reports.

Salary ranges may vary. We’re seeking candidates with varied experience levels; from individual contributors to functional leaders in this space.
