Job summary

Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigation Services is hiring a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Investigator in California. The role focuses on examining insurance claims with red flags for possible fraud, using extensive policy knowledge and investigative experience.

Responsibilities include independent investigation across multiple coverages, data gathering, and producing precise reports. Auto and travel allowances are provided, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience conducting fraud investigations across multiple insurance lines.
• Ability to gather information through interviews, data collection, and independent research.
• Produce clear, professional investigation reports, memos and correspondence.
• Proficient use of laptops, cell phones, and standard investigative software.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims across workers’ comp, general liability, property and casualty, and disability.
• Gather information via interviews, data collection, and coordination with clients, case managers, and law enforcement.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for investigations, reviews, audits, and tasks.
• Produce clear and professional reports, memos, and letters.
