Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigation Services is hiring a Special Investigations Unit (SIU) Investigator. The SIU Specialist investigates claims with red flags that suggest fraud and determines if claims warrant reporting to state agencies for prosecution.

The role offers field work, an auto allowance and company card for fuel and travel, and requires a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelors in Criminal Justice or 5+ years law enforcement experience.
• Valid Private Investigator license as required by the state.
• 5+ years of complex insurance investigation experience.
• Proficient in anti-fraud laws and insurance regulations.
• Proficient with laptops and mobile devices.

Aufgaben

• Independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims for workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability.
• Gather information through interviews, data collection, and collaboration with clients, case managers, law enforcement and state Departments of Insurance.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for investigations, file reviews, audits, training tasks, and other assignments.
• Produce professional and clear reports, memos, and letters.
• Run appropriate database indices and verify results.
• Develop a strategic plan to achieve assignment objectives and communicate with clients and their SIU Supervisor.
