Job summary

Allied Universal Compliance and Investigation Services is seeking skilled investigators for insurance claim fraud and SIU cases across various lines. You will gather evidence, interview stakeholders, and produce clear reports while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications include a criminal justice background, private investigator licensure, and 5+ years in complex insurance investigations. Training, field work, and a strong knowledge of anti-fraud laws are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
• High School diploma or higher with 5+ years of professional law enforcement experience focused on investigations related to fraud.
• Ability to be licensed as a Private Investigator where work is performed.
• Post offer, must complete Allied Universal Investigations training/orientation.
• Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in complex insurance investigations or adjusting complex claims.
• Understanding of anti-fraud laws, insurance regulations, and compliance standards in home state and region.
• Proficient with laptops and cell phones.
• SIU Compliance knowledge.
• Type 40+ words per minute with low error rate.
• Flexible to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims across multiple coverage areas.
• Gather information through discretion, data collection, interviews, and collaboration with SIU entities, law enforcement, and regulators.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for investigations, reviews, audits, and assignments.
• Produce professional reports, memos, and letters that are clear and concise.
• Run database indices as needed and verify result accuracy.
• Develop a strategic plan to achieve assignment objectives with thorough documentation and client communication.
