Job summary

National General Holdings Corp., part of Allstate, seeks an experienced SIU Investigator to join a field-based team serving a territory within approximately a three-hour radius of Chicago, IL. You will lead complex fraud investigations across Auto, Homeowners, and Specialty Lines, guiding junior staff and mentoring the team where needed.

Qualifications

• Prior investigative experience is required, with a strong preference for an SIU background.
• Proven track record of identifying, investigating, and resolving suspicious claims.
• Experience handling complex fraud investigations across multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Enter SIU claim data into multiple SIU systems and maintain records.
• Review investigations with fraud outcomes and determine denial validity.
• Update files with outcomes and coordinate with MCO for further handling.
• Conduct complex online data searches, research, and evaluation.
• Perform site inspections and surveillance as needed on complex cases.
• Summarize documents and document decisions in claim notes.
• Use SIU tools to identify complex claims for investigation and support.
